Privacy Policy — Scanivo

Last updated: June 7, 2026 · Effective date: June 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Scanivo (the "App", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you install or use our Android application available on Google Play (package name com.srtech.scanivo). By installing or using Scanivo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Summary in plain English: Scanivo runs entirely on your device. We do not have user accounts, we do not run servers that store your scans, and we never upload the documents you scan. The only data that leaves your device is (a) anonymous information used by Google to serve in-app ads to non-premium users (advertising ID + standard device/network signals), and (b) the purchase tokens Google Play Billing sends when you subscribe to Premium or restore a previous purchase.

This information is collected directly by Google under their privacy policy. We do not receive a copy. See the Google Ads Privacy Policy for details.

3. Permissions we request

4. Third-party services

Scanivo uses the following third-party SDKs. Each is governed by its provider's own privacy policy:

5. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

Scanivo offers optional paid plans to remove advertising and unlock premium features:

All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment card details. We receive only a purchase token, the product ID, and your Google-account-level entitlement state — enough to know whether to enable premium features and hide advertising on your device.

Premium entitlement is restored automatically when you sign into the same Google account on a new device, after a reinstall, or after clearing app data. You can also tap Restore Purchases in Profile or the Premium screen to trigger the check manually.

Cancellation, refund, and subscription management are handled entirely by Google Play. The Manage Subscription button in the App opens the standard Google Play subscription page for your account.

6. Data sharing & disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information only when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the public.

Because Scanivo does not collect documents or personal account data, there is generally nothing for us to disclose in response to such requests.

7. Data retention

8. Security

Scanivo stores documents in app-private storage, which is sandboxed by Android so other apps cannot read them. The optional Locker further restricts access to selected files behind a PIN and biometric authentication.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We follow industry-standard practices, but you remain responsible for the security of your device (lock screen, OS updates, etc.).

9. Children's privacy

Scanivo is intended for general audiences. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

The App displays Google AdMob ads. If your account is configured for child-directed treatment in Play Store, ad serving is automatically adjusted by Google.

10. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

Because the App does not maintain accounts or upload your scans, requests to delete personal data can usually be satisfied by uninstalling the App or clearing it from Settings → Apps → Scanivo → Storage → Clear data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Google Play listing or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised policy.
